friendly staff in a nicely decorated but modern hotel by the sea. take a seaside room and not at the roundabout
Taha, front desk clerk, and his team assigned an ocean front room to myself and my adult children. After an overseas flight we appreciated it. He also facilitated our breakfast and early checkin since we arrived at 9am. Khadija in our new building reception was excellent in assisting with phone calls to our accommodation in Fes, Morocco. The views of the ocean were gorgeous and the staff very attentive. The hotel was spotless and very Moroccan in theme and design.
In order to request a second day or a booking for the next week, the front desk had us talk to booking by telephone and the ability to communicate in English was poor. Also, they said we could have the same ocean front room at the Booked.net price but neither were followed through with when we returned.
We stayed in the new building (ryad) and the room is quite nice. Nice furniture, LCD & big with ocean view.
The surroundings are quite low level. The reception people are just some machines with just 2 activites like: check-in & check-out. Someone must tell them that customer is not only paying for the room, but for the services too.
The hotel is close enough to the city but gives you more comfort because out of the center.
I wished the wifi connection reached all rooms rather than just being in the lobby areas.
Excellent check-in service, comfortable room, nice Moroccan interior. Good restaurant Basmane nearby.
Internet not too fast. Forgot about make a wakeup call.
Our last night in Morocco me and my gf decided to stay here to relax a little bit. It was a little bit expensive compared to the usual Ibis hotel chain we stayed in but there was a lot more diversity in the restaurant, mutiple bars and even channels on the TV. The hotel is right on the beach (well maybe a 2min walk to the water) so the vîew is really nice if you get a seaside room.
Everything is in Euro when you buy it, and then its transfered to your room tab, so when you leave you have to pay a seemingly massive bill which is in Dirhams...so watch on the conversation rates.
Classy hotel. Rooms were very clean and reasonable size. The restaurant menu was quite limited but the food was good and prices reasonable. The hotel is located on the coast and has good views. Good location for the beach but quite a way from the station and airport.
The area around is full of restaurants and discotecs, you can return walking from them. Helpful staff. Nice and big room with excelent internet conection (somenthing not so usual in Casablanca)
Air conditioner wasn't powerful enought, in summer it could be a big problem.
This hotel keep Moroccan traditional style. These interior were very wonderful!!!
Proximity to the sea. Promenade along the coast. Comfortable beds. Restaurant where you can always have a meal (in Morocco you will find anywhere for example lunch). Until Mein Medina еo walk about 1 hour, but a lot of mini taxis and can be a cheap price to get to the attractions.
This hotel is not 4 star in Europe or America. But not bad when you consider that Casablanca few decent hotels in Europe. For all their desire, I would not call Casablanca resort place for good vacation. It can not be more than 2 days, then go on to see more interesting of Morocco (Rabat, Marracesh, Agadir, Fes and ets......
The hotel is good compared to others in the area, therefore a useful option.
The hotel is typical of those in the area in that it is slightly out of date. Perhaps also a little expensive.
Beautiful location and hotel. Ask for a room in the new tower which is great.
Rude people at front desk, expensive breakfast
Very pleasant location, easy access to the Mosquee
Hotel has 2 buildings - new and old one and we lived in old. It was terrible stay: room was dirty, balcony door doesn`t close so noise get from thr street, furniture old and made in bad taste, matress not convinient. We would give only 2 stars to this hotel, not 4! And price too high for this quality.
It has a great location on the Corniche of Casablanca, but it's not easy to find it since there is only a very small indication on the main road.
